Last month my dad's youngest brother (uncle Dave), turned 40. We had to make it awesome. His birthday actually fell on a Sunday, so the plan was for him to go out to dinner with all the brothers and sisters on Saturday, and then on Sunday everyone would come over for his birthday. At least that's what he thought. The real plan was while Dave was out to dinner some of the cousins were to go to grandmas to get the place all decked out for a huge suprise party. It went off without a hitch.
Also, earlier that day some of the cousins went bowling with Dave. He had a blast. My mom made the biggest birthday cake ever! Just look at the picture. Six layers of cake, and all different flavors! It was definitely a crowd-pleaser. Johnny and I made a DVD of Dave's life set to his favorite theme show music. I must say that it was pretty cool. He sang all the words to all the songs while he watched and mimicked his faces in the pictures (of himself). We love our uncle Dave!
