Three Years!!!

Today is our three year anniversary! I came home to 2 surprises. First of all these beauties pictured above. And also Johnny told me that I wasn't going to work on Friday! He had worked it out with my boss and everything. We knew we wouldn't be celebrating today, we are celebrating all weekend instead! I have no idea what we'll be doing, but I can't wait. Johnny is always awesome at planning rad stuff!

Here's a look back at our special day three years ago!
Not the best of us, but dang look at my dress!
The girls, all of which are married now. Oh, except Heidelberg.
The delicious luncheon!
We love this picture of us after feeding eachother the cake. It's priceless!

It has been an amazing three years. We've been through alot and learned alot about eachother. I picked the best guy to spend forever with. Love you mister!

What do you think?

The chop with hi-lights won out. I'm a sucker for a blonde summer. I love it! (p.s. If you need your hair done my sister does cut and color for $45. WAY cheaper than anywhere else! Let me know!)

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial holiday. Monday morning we rode our bikes with my family down to Ann Morrison park where we played in the fountain, on the playground and in the river. We barbecued at mom and dad's and then in the evening we went to Uncle Wayne's for volleyball, zip line, and a plethora of ice cream varieties. It was great fun!

Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters!

Check out these blasts from the past! I just had to put these up for fun. Look at us, the three amigos. One question, why is my hair twice the size of my head in both of these?!! Must have been a perm gone wrong. Sherstine has an amazing mullet, and Erika just has dang cute curls that we all wish we had now.
Oh, man, the denim takeover of the eighties. Yikes! (Sherstine, are those permed bangs? You are the bang master!)

I cant' leave Heidi out of this sisters tribute. She hates pictures of her short hair back in the day, but I think she was so stinkin' cute!!
To my sisters: The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

We are having a...

So this is me, one week shy of 5 months. I have the shortest torso in the world, so its pretty funny how much my belly pokes out already.
And here's what's inside that belly. From looking at this picture we think that she has my nose. YES, SHE. IT'S A GIRL!!! It was so cool to see her little arms and legs moving around in there. She was being a little difficult and was just chillin in the same position for a while and we couldn't get a good look at first. I call it modesty. We can't wait for this little girl to join our family in October. Wahoo!!

Who needs Hugh Jackman?

The movie was AWESOME!

Happy Mothers Day (a little late)

This is my beautiful mom. In case you were wondering, she is the BEST mom out there! She is a super-woman. Growing up she always had a big church calling (while my dad was bishop or stake pres.), she used to sew most of our clothes(matching might I add),she always had something delicious and home-made for dinner, and all in the meanwhile wrestling five crazy kids! Makes me tired just thinking about it. I've always felt like I had a pretty good relationship with my mom, but since I got married she has become my best friend. I can tell her everything and ask her anything and she is always willing to help, yet she still respects me enough to let me make my own decisions. After high school the favorite hang out was my parents house, this had a lot to do with my mom(and dad as well). There were some nights when I would be like, "hey where did so and so go?" And sure enough they would be off talking to my mom, asking her advice about stuff. Because of my parents I still love to be at my house with them and my family. It's a happy place to be! So here's to you mom, you don't get nearly enough credit for what you do! I love you!!!
(p.s. Take note of my SUPER long hair. It is about to be chopped off as soon as my sister gets here. Yipee!)
