Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters!

Check out these blasts from the past! I just had to put these up for fun. Look at us, the three amigos. One question, why is my hair twice the size of my head in both of these?!! Must have been a perm gone wrong. Sherstine has an amazing mullet, and Erika just has dang cute curls that we all wish we had now.
Oh, man, the denim takeover of the eighties. Yikes! (Sherstine, are those permed bangs? You are the bang master!)

I cant' leave Heidi out of this sisters tribute. She hates pictures of her short hair back in the day, but I think she was so stinkin' cute!!
To my sisters: The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

We are having a...

So this is me, one week shy of 5 months. I have the shortest torso in the world, so its pretty funny how much my belly pokes out already.
And here's what's inside that belly. From looking at this picture we think that she has my nose. YES, SHE. IT'S A GIRL!!! It was so cool to see her little arms and legs moving around in there. She was being a little difficult and was just chillin in the same position for a while and we couldn't get a good look at first. I call it modesty. We can't wait for this little girl to join our family in October. Wahoo!!

Who needs Hugh Jackman?

The movie was AWESOME!

Happy Mothers Day (a little late)

This is my beautiful mom. In case you were wondering, she is the BEST mom out there! She is a super-woman. Growing up she always had a big church calling (while my dad was bishop or stake pres.), she used to sew most of our clothes(matching might I add),she always had something delicious and home-made for dinner, and all in the meanwhile wrestling five crazy kids! Makes me tired just thinking about it. I've always felt like I had a pretty good relationship with my mom, but since I got married she has become my best friend. I can tell her everything and ask her anything and she is always willing to help, yet she still respects me enough to let me make my own decisions. After high school the favorite hang out was my parents house, this had a lot to do with my mom(and dad as well). There were some nights when I would be like, "hey where did so and so go?" And sure enough they would be off talking to my mom, asking her advice about stuff. Because of my parents I still love to be at my house with them and my family. It's a happy place to be! So here's to you mom, you don't get nearly enough credit for what you do! I love you!!!
(p.s. Take note of my SUPER long hair. It is about to be chopped off as soon as my sister gets here. Yipee!)

"I'll Go Home With Bonnie Jean!

Tonight is opening night of Brigadoon for music week. Johnny plays one of the principle roles Charlie. I went to a run-through rehearsal last Friday to watch and got some fun pictures.
Those are my socks, if you couldn't guess. It was just a joke for rehearsal. Everyone loved it.

Johnny is GREAT! I was really impressed with his stage presence, and of coarse his voice. I wish I could be there tonight for opening night, but alas, I am headed off to class tonight.

Yeah... that's my husband.

So every year on Easter morning, my uncle Craig who directs the institute choir puts on "He is Jesus Christ", which is an amazing program about the Savior. Its sung in front of the Boise temple early in the morning just as the sun rises. I begged Johnny to try out for a solo (he did it back in the day), so that I could record him. You know posterity and all that, YEAH RIGHT I wanted to show him off! Hee hee! But really, can you imagine seeing your dad or grandpa sing this way? It will be sweet. Anyway, I don't have to talk it up much, just take a looksie. And remember, hes all mine. :) p.s. Listen all the way to the end for the amazing finish.

Funny Kids

So, I work as a nanny. I've been watching the same kids for almost 3 years. I pretty much feel like a mom and like I have 2 kids ( when I have only one it will be cake!). Anyway, they are the sweetest, cutest kids ever. Yesterday I was browsing through old pictures and videos and came across this little treasure. It is actually from about a year ago. First let me tell you a little about the 3 year old (2 in the video) girl Ella that I watch. She is the spunkiest, huskiest,HYSTERICAL little girl ( I hope I have one just like her). So, without further ado... Ella. (p.s. Sam had been working on rolling over and had been really frustrated, and as soon as I turned on the camera he started crying. He wasn't just laying there crying forever, I swear!)

For just a little insight she also recently aquired two imaginery friends named "Johnson" and "Coeman". NO IDEA where she came up with these people, but she works with these guys. Sometimes building houses, and sometimes at Home Depot. She runs around talking with them all day, it is hysterical. She can't wait until Livia moves back so they can play and swim together! And Sam is walking all over the place and ready to wrestle with Gavin. Hurry up guys! These are recent pictures of the little rascals.
